Regional Stories was born from a simple belief — that powerful things happen when regional voices are heard.

We exist to amplify the people, places, and possibilities that shape life beyond the city limits. From small-town innovators to community changemakers, our mission is to tell the stories that remind Australia — and the world — just how extraordinary regional living can be.

Founded by Laticia Braving, a former tv reporter turned regional storyteller and the creative producer behind Blue Clay Creatives, Regional Stories brings together a network of journalists, filmmakers, and local contributors passionate about shining a light on what’s real, raw, and remarkable in the bush.

At our heart, we are a social impact platform — championing diverse regional voices including First Nations peoples, young people, people with disabilities, and those living in isolation. Our stories build empathy, understanding, and pride, reflecting the true spirit of regional Australia back to itself.

I love stories, business, healthy living — and I absolutely love regional Australia.After spending most of my life living and working across the bush, I know how special our communities are — and how often they’re misunderstood or underestimated. That’s why I created Regional Stories: to shine a light on the people, places, and ideas that make regional life extraordinary.Our mission is simple — to help grow the long-term prosperity of regional Australia by telling stories that connect, inspire, and empower. Through film, media, and collaboration, we’re giving regional voices the space to lead the national conversation.
